On the 18th of September, each year is International Equal Pay Day.
The day highlights the pay struggles that marginalised people around the world are still facing today and looks at ways how to deal with them. Last year, the Fawcett Society published data on the pay inequality in England, which had risen to 11.9% up from 10.6% in 2020.
We also posed a question to our LinkedIn community, asking whether publishing the salary on a job ad is important.
Out of 151, 97% said they find it important to have the salary banding on a job ad.
